Review overdue Square invoice balances with read-only source evidence. General connection is unavailable until a separately approved pilot is commissioned.

What CAVOA checks

Published unpaid and partially paid invoices with overdue payment requests. Due dates use the invoice timezone; future installments are excluded. Stale partial balances need a natively linked completed payment with no update for 14 days. Each affected invoice balance counts once, with currencies kept separate.

Linked refunds appear as observations with no potentially recoverable amount. Refunds, canceled invoices and completed POS sales are not automatically leaks.

Minimum access

Only MERCHANT_PROFILE_READ, INVOICES_READ, PAYMENTS_READ and ORDERS_READ. CAVOA reads safe merchant/location identity, invoices, and their linked orders, payments and refunds. It does not request customer or subscription scopes. Names, emails, notes, descriptions and card details are discarded before reports are stored.

Your connection

Owner authorization binds one exact merchant, location and sandbox/live environment for up to seven days. Authorize at Square, confirm the merchant and location, then run a manual sync. Server tokens are encrypted. No invoice edits, charges, refunds, messages or automatic actions.

Coverage and limits

USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD and NZD only. Two matching bounded reads; at most 500 invoices, 180 requests and 55 seconds. Partial, changing or unsupported data cannot replace your last good report. Reads are not transactional. Verify current source records before acting.

Revenue Health measures supported receivables only. Payment, Subscription, Billing Hygiene and full Reconciliation remain Not measured; there is no overall score. Action Center shows source evidence and a manual next step. Revenue Watch compares manual snapshots; disappearance and falling balances never establish recovery.

Deferred checks

Current failed payments, subscription distress, draft age, payment-method readiness, duplicates, underpricing, discounts, missing invoices and unbilled work need more evidence. Appointments, cancellations and no-shows need an external expected-revenue baseline. No customer use is implied.

Disconnect

Disconnect immediately removes stored credentials and blocks reads, then attempts to revoke the Square grant. Square revocation removes all tokens for this app and seller. If remote revocation cannot be confirmed, remove CAVOA in Square connected-app settings. Reports remain until workspace deletion.
